Tour de Harbour

Perhaps because I am crazy, or maybe I really am keen, I felt the need in December when I purchased my Spiral to sail from Woollahra, to Concord to race and back again.
I left at 12.15pm, and arrived at 2pm for a 2.20pm race. I left concord shortly after 4pm and arrived back at Woollahra at 7.45pm. So… A big day…
Perhaps because I am mental, I decided to do this again on 11 January 2014… Perhaps learning from the first time I took a fellow adventurer along for the ride…
The second trip took 8.5 hours…
You can check out the video below!

On 30 November 2013, and 11 January 2014, Adventures of a Sailor Girl (Nic Douglass), sailed her Spiral dinghy from Woollahra Sailing Club at Rose Bay in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, to the Western side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge… the journey continued up the river to Putney to race at the Concord Sailing Club, before sailing all the way back to Rose Bay again… the first trip took over seven hours, the second with Chris Eddes, took over eight hours.
