From the Volvo Ocean Race, to the Figaro, to the ISAF World Cup and visit to the Ben Ainslie Racing base, I just couldn’t miss the Extreme Sailing action in Cardiff.
Even though the was a bit steep, and I had a bus and a big trek with my bags to with – it was well worth the action of eight plus races a day in gusty conditions for some stadium racing.
I was lucky enough to go sailing with the GAC Pindar team, I got roped into helping with some of the corporate sailing, and I also went out on the water during racing for the first three days to help out with some pics and on the coach boat.
I will have from the sailing as soon as I have a bit of time to clip up the action, but in the meantime – catch up with the podium place winners in my below!
I am heading to Sweden overnight tonight to catch the end of the Volvo Ocean Race… bus, plane, bus, ferry to get there. And the race is on to beat the boat for leg 9 – at this stage Team Alvimedica!
