I have been lucky enough to have two fantastic rides on the VX One since I have been back in Australia.
Below is the video from the 14 September, when we got stuck in an unexpected southerly with the mast head kite! Some awesome rides, and managed to beat a number of more handicap friendly sports boats on corrected time… and rightly so because we also won the race on scratch!
They are just so much fun! They have a lot of stability, but still act as a dinghy – they can capsize!
On 28 September, the racing was cancelled, but we still went for a burn anyway! We reached 23.8 knots top speed… well from what I was able to see! By far the MOST fun I have ever had on a keel boat!
If you have a chance to have a go on one of these awesome boats, there really isn’t even an option but to say yes!
