PARA WORLD SAILING: A windy day in Williamstown

Capsize

Finishing off the interview “on the dock”

On a blustery day last week in Williamstown I was lucky enough to catch up with some amazing sailors; Dee Smith who sails the 2.4 and went on to finish sixth, Amy Barnbrook who sails the Skud 18, and Liesl Tesch who has just been crowned World Champion with her skipper Dan Fitzgibbon. What a way to lead into the Olympics in Rio where they will be aiming to defend their London 2012 Gold!
Apologies in advance, it was so windy that a. my camera nearly blew into the water (don’t worry that little blooper is included in the footage) and b. in my interview with Liesl there is some wind noise that I just couldn’t edit out. I loved catching up with her so much (as always) that I have captioned the end of the interview.
Can I just say here, I love seeing so many people loving sailing – Para Sailing is just so incredible.
See you all at Sail Melbourne!
