This week the Australian Sailing Team announced the first of their athletes that will be competing at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. I spoke with Victor Kovalenko, head coach and Jason Waterhouse & Lisa Darmanin.
Congratulations to the whole team (on and off the water) and in particular to Nath Outteridge and Iain Jensen (49er, who were unable to attend as they are currently training with Artemis Racing), Mat Belcher & Will Ryan (470M) and Jason Waterhouse & Lisa Darmanin (Nacra17).
Amazing to watch the Olympic journeys so far and I can’t wait to see what happens come 2016!
