Tasar World Champs - on the podium

Our Tasar Worlds are wrapped for another year, and while it wasn’t what we had hoped for – third is an amazing achievement in a fleet of 97 boats. All credit to Libby and Jonathan McKee who sailed beautifully to secure their Worlds with a race to spare, and former World Champ Chris Dance with Jeremey Elmslie sailed consistently to pip us by just two points.

Bethwaite Memorial Trophy

Four years ago, Dad and I were the inaugural winners of the Bethwaite Memorial Trophy.
Yesterday, I was there, but this time I didn’t race. Instead I took pictures and watched on while my brother-in-law, new to sailing, did his first race with my Dad. Was pretty awesome.

The final day of racing at the MC38 Nationals was as unpredictable as they come with the remnants of an overnight southerly front, storm activity, and an ever-attempting sea breeze.
